Feature Community
Helping to improve the wider community in which we live is core to the ethos of Clavell Capital. Below is a summary of Clavell’s community involvement.

Parenting Place

Clavell is a long term supporter of Parenting Place, with David Belcher currently serving on the Board as Chairman. Clavell believes that influencing the next generation will have a long-term positive impact in our community and country. The vision of The Parenting Place is to positively impact every family and does this through a number of programmes including, Toolbox parenting groups, Parenting magazine, events, workshops, family coaching and the Attitude Programme for secondary school students, which is now in 94% of all New Zealand high schools.

Get Organised Auckland

Clavell was a major sponsor of Get Organised Auckland. Get Organised Auckland was a fundraiser for the Preventing Violence in the Home charity, which is now known as SHINE (Safe Homes in New Zealand Everyday).

Clavell was the sponsor of the Unicef Tap Project New Zealand in 2008. In 2007, the UNICEF Tap Project was born in New York City based on a simple concept: restaurants would ask their patrons to donate $1 or more for the tap water they usually enjoy for free, and all funds raised would support UNICEF’s efforts to bring clean and accessible water to millions of children around the world.

Clavell also was a foundation sponsor of Glow, St Paul's church’s Annual Christmas Carols by Glow Stick service in Vector Arena, which is a gift from the church for the City of Auckland.
